I went to RC Willey on a Wednesday looking for a living room set, television, patio furniture, refrigerator, and stove. I dealt with two very friendly salesmen that did not pressure me at all. We picked out everything, but I was torn between two sofas, one costing $800 and the other costing $2,400, so the next day I brought my father to help me decide. We decided on the $2,400 sofa due to the level of comfort. I was told that it was a custom order, and my sales rep was not in that day, so we were going to go back the next day and finalize everything. While we were at the store, I wanted to show him everything that I had picked out. We went to the outdoor patio section and I showed him the four chairs that we were getting, I took him to show him the dining room set that we had picked out, and then we ventured to electronics to see the 3D LED TV that I loved. When we went to electronics we were quickly approached by a very pushy salesman asking to assist us. I asked if he could show us a television comparable to the one that was on display the day prior, but was no longer there. He showed us a television that was no where near what I had looked at the day prior and I let him know that this was not anything like what I had been shown and described by the salesmen in electronics on Wednesday. He told me that it was the same tv, the features and size were the same, and that the salesman the day prior had lied to me about all of the specs that I was so excited about. I told him that I loved the 3D TV though and wanted one, and he told me that I would get the same picture from an LCD TV that I would on a 3D TV, which is completely inaccurate as one is a platform for 3D content and the other is not. He was extremely rude during this conversation, so I said that I would just go to Costco to compare the TVs since I was getting conflicting stories and at this point was extremely confused. I then took my dad over to the refrigerators to show him the beautiful $3,000 refrigerator that I had picked out. The sales person followed us, looked me square in the face and says "If you are going to look at TVs at Costco, why don't you buy your refrigerator there too?" I was so upset and felt so bullied that I immediately left the store and went straight to Costco to compare the televisions. While at Costco I found a great sofa for only $1,000 and a 55' 3D LED TV for $1,200, so I purchased both on the spot. What a great idea from the salesman at RC Willey! I am still in the market for both a dining room set, refrigerator, microwave, stove, fire pit, outdoor sofa, and outdoor tanning loungers. And although I loved everything that I found at RC Willey and was both willing and able to purchase them all cash the next day, I will now never step foot in another one of your stores. It is very upsetting because there were so many great salesmen there, but one bad apple ruined a very large sale for the store and all of my business in the future.
