RC willey customer service complaint review


I bought a hutch one day and returned the next to purchase a TV.I then had to wait for an hour as they could not find the delivery of my hutch in the computer. They went back and forth and kept saying things like linked delivery, and the guy who sold you the hutch screwed this up. Not very professional. Then I after I finally get that resolved, I was told they would deliver on Saturday. 7:20 on Saturday morning, I get a phone call scheduling delivery within 3 hours. Great. 30 minutes later they call and tell me they opened the shipment the night before and it was the wrong item so they can't deliver it. I ask what color it is and they said they don't know. I asked if I could have a floor model since I am leaving the state for orientation at a new job. No. They said they are willing to refund or wait several weeks to try again. I had to speak to a supervisor to even get an "I'm sorry."

Update: 1/15/10. I arrived home after being out of town for a week. Home for one whole day and I tried to schedule a delivery for today. I realized that may not be possible on short notice but decided to give it a try. I contacted the supervisor to ask if delivery was possible today, and she promptly snapped at me "I thought I told you to give me 24 hours notice." I really didn't appreciate being snapped at when I was just asking if it was possible. I tried to diffuse her snottiness by saying "Well, it was worth a try." She then told me she would call me back and did, scheduling me for sometime that day. It was then 10am, and I was perfectly fine to wait around since I was the one with the short notice and they were working around my schedule. They called after 5 to schedule delivery. I said great. 30 minutes later they called to say they only have the TV. They did this to me again. I was told the hutch would arriveon Tuesday, so when I called to schedule delivery on Saturday, they may have mentioned that my item STILL had not arrived. Instead, I waited around all day only to still not get my delivery. I was told to call back later to try scheduling again. Really? Twice and that's OK? What kind of company am I dealing with?

I'm sorry about the confusion and the issues in delivering your Hutch and TV. I'm not sure why they were so unhelpful in this situation. I'd love to help you out and address anything that hasn't been resolved.
