Worst Customer Service and Warranty P...O...S! - Whirlpool Fridge


This review has been resolved or replied to by this company.
Over the past 5 years we have purchased carpet, couch and love seat, and 3 top appliances from RC Willey s. It has been now 10 days and our 1 year old, stainless steel, french door, Whirlpool, $1200 dollar fridge is faulty.... The repair service had to factory order a "heater" which takes 7-10 days to make and ship because ours was faulty! that means total 16 days without a fridge or freezer. We have been living out of a cooler, not to mention I am 7 months pregnant and have a 3 year old with special needs. We bought a 5 year warranty, which really is a load of BS CRAP! We tried for days to speak with a manager, left 2-3 messages, none were ever returned. Customer Service refused to let us speak to a manager on the phone. I initiated every call, even to the contracted repair service to get information on what was going on. Finally, after phone calls and unanswered messages, and being BEYOND ANGRY, I begged RC Willeys to give us a loaner fridge until ours is fixed. They agreed to let me have one, but it does not even come close to fixing how this problem was handled. No apology, responsibility???We have food loss of $100 plus from the fridge, $30 plus in ice for the cooler, and had to buy a chest freezer (200 dollars) to save our freezer food. I was told by Customer Service "Unfortunately, there is very little we can do for you, we are at the mercy of the manufactures". WTH! We are DISAPPOINTED in RC Willeys!!!! They LOST our business for good and we regret buying our appliances from them.
