I recently purchased a tv from a store in Las Vegas. Two days later i see it at Best Buy for a hundred dollars less. RC Willey would not price match because I received a blue ray player with the purchase of my tv. The price match policy does not specify that it is excluded if you receive a free gift with purchase. The money I paid was for the tv only. The store manager would not even come talk to me, he just had some arrogant salesman come tell me ther was nothing he can do. I will never do any business with RC Willey again and I will deer anyone who asks me about this store. I believe that RC Willey should honor their policy as it is written.

I forwarded on the information to our Vice President over Electronics and discussed the situation with him. We are more than willing to match the price and we would love to help you out in this situation. All our price matching is based upon like-kind item’s total value to like-kind item’s total value. The package that you purchased was for the 46” Toshiba LCD TV plus and an additional promotional item for free. In this case it was a Blu-Ray player.

I have a few options that I can provide to you. The value of the blu-ray player you received is over $150. If you combine the value of the TV and the blu-ray player, you came out ahead in the purchase. This combined value was taken into consideration at the time of the promotion. As a second option, our VP offered to give you $150 back if you return the blu-ray player. If you would like this option, you could return the blu-ray player and receive the $150 credit. Either way, you would have a better offer than the one that saw at Best Buy.

We have also informed the general managers of each Las Vegas store of your situation. They are willing to accommodate you with either option. Please let me know what you would like to do.
